NZIODA Membership

NZIODA is the organisation behind the running of the Optimist Class and all Optimist Ranking Regattas in New Zealand. NZIODA consists of a  committee of 20 members from throughout New Zealand who meet at each Ranking regatta to discuss Optimist matters and vote where necessary. Committee members are all volunteers and are mostly Optimist Open parents. NZIODA is a Not for Profit Organisation. Membership fees are $40 per annum per family. All Optimist Open entrants must be a fully paid up member of NZIODA. Visit the NZIODA website at  www.optimist.org.nz and click on the ClubHub tab to register for the season if you have not already done so. NZIODA membership will be checked at Registration.

The NZIODA website also has a lot of information such as Class Rules,  New Zealand Measurers, Results and Rankings etc. News and information on upcoming events are posted on this website regularly.

Volunteer

We know many of you will come from out of town and would like the opportunity to pitch in and help. If you’re not a member of Murrays Bay and already involved in the organization, please fill in our volunteer form.  Running a Regatta like this takes plenty of hands and we’ll always appreciate any help.      REGISTER HERE
